Hi, I'm Sabrina!

I'm a wife, mom to four boys, homeschooler, mountain biker, book-reader, lover of coffee, and a photographer. Not necessarily in that order.

This whole gig started when my when my oldest son was born and he was the cutest baby you've ever seen (seriously, I'm not kidding), and my point-and-click camera just couldn't keep up with him (this was back in 2007, so technology was a little limited). My husband encouraged me to take a leap of faith and bought me a Canon DSLR from Best Buy and a couple of lenses. A few Scott Kelby books later, et voila!

A photographer was born!

Soon enough I needed more models for my growing passion to document life and living.

A business was born!

From 2008-2015 I explored all kinds of photography--studio lighting and natural light, posed and lifestyle, newborns, families, seniors, Santa Claus, and even animals. Remind me to tell you about that time I incubated a flock of chickens on my kitchen counter for the sake of Spring/Easter Mini-Sessions!

After moving cross-country (twice), starting to homeschool my three boys, and then (surprise!) our bonus baby, my photography took a bit of a backseat. It was always there, patiently waiting for me to have one hand ready for the shutter button. Now after another (hopefully, final) cross-country move to the desert of Arizona, I've been slowly building momentum to make high school senior and family photography accessible, easy, and FUN.

My style focuses on connection, wonder, and a little bit of whimsy. I get that life is crazy and chaotic and messy, and, quite frankly, it goes by too quickly.  Before you know it, your squishy little baby is a towering 18-year-old man-child. (Cliche, I know, but so true!) So let's make it easy. Let's make some pictures. Let's make this moment last forever.
